First Time Students

Welcome! Our campus is a great way to begin your journey in to the Calvary Chapel Bible College experience.

Our campus has a close, intimate setting, allowing all staff & students to really interact and have accountability with each other. There is a real family atmosphere here, which most of the students really enjoy. We also want to expose students to life & culture here in Japan, so we keep a balance of Biblical studies, and cultural experience. Okinawa also has a big international community. It is not uncommon for you to meet people from all over Asia. We also have had students that were fluent in Spanish, and were pleasantly surprised to be able to use it here!

Because our director has been a Pastor for close to 20 years, the students have the opportunity to be taught from the perspective of ministry close up. They are given opportunites to minister at different churches and ministries all over the island.

Your semester here in Okinawa will be one you will never forget.

Continuing Students

For those that are continuing students, CCBC Okinawa offers a great experience overseas, while still being able to accomplish your credits with Calvary Chapel Bible College.

We take seriously all students that apply. We really want each student to not only experience "missions" work, but also to become disciplined in Biblical Studies and Ministry Work.

You will be challenged, stretched, changed & broken. Many students come seeking if they are called to Service in the mission field, especially in Asia.

Because the director Pastor Tommy Ruiz Jr. has served well over a decade as a Calvary Chapel Senior Pastor in California and now in Okinawa, his heart is to give the Students a perspective of Ministry through the eyes of a Senior Pastor. Every Student is treated as if "he or she" will be serving in "full time" ministry later in life.
